NEWS: Constructions-3D expands to Ohio with Vitruvian, Termix-3D releases its first big-bag, and the incubator construction continues this summer!

Vitruvian: our new partners in the United States

We are thrilled to announce that Vitruvian has become a partner of Constructions-3D in the United States by investing in our MaxiPrinter 3D concrete printer. This marks a significant milestone in our mission to revolutionize the construction industry with our advanced 3D concrete printing technology.

At the end of April, the Vitruvian team visited our headquarters for comprehensive training on the MaxiPrinter, and they received their certificates! Our experts provided hands-on demonstrations, detailed technical information, and practical advice to ensure Vitruvian can fully harness the capabilities of the MaxiPrinter. This partnership highlights the growing recognition and adoption of 3D concrete printing in the U.S. construction market.

Our New Termix-3D Factory Just Released Its First Big Bag!

Our teams have been working for several months to set up the Termix-3D factory. The first big bag has been produced to conduct initial tests, and the results are very promising. Stay tuned for the grand opening of the factory!

Termix-3D: Developing a Local Material

Within the C3D Lab formulation laboratory, Termix-3D has developed a micro concrete based on local resources: "The cement in the concrete is partially replaced by clay and blast furnace slag (from the Hauts-de-France region). The material also incorporates regional sand, which is sometimes underestimated, into the mortar composition. This ecological and local approach reinvents the use of traditional materials, aligning with our sustainability values.

At the heart of our approach, we face a significant challenge: producing thousands of tons of micro concrete to build the Citadelle des Savoir-Faire and supply material to companies using 3D concrete printing.

Sustainable Collaboration with MAPEI: A Significant Milestone for Constructions-3D

At Constructions-3D, we are constantly seeking innovative and sustainable materials to enhance our 3D printing construction processes. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting MAPEI experts at our premises for a day of collaboration and testing.

During this visit, we conducted a printing test with our MaxiPrinter using a specially formulated ink with MAPEI additives. This experience allowed the MAPEI team to discover our cutting-edge technology and witness the direct and concrete application of their products in our 3D printing process.

For Constructions-3D, this day was a valuable opportunity to gain expert advice from MAPEI on the material's behavior and properties. The test results were very promising, demonstrating that the ink containing MAPEI additives is perfectly compatible with our printing equipment while possessing the desired characteristics.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the MAPEI team for their visit and collaboration. Their expertise and support continue to play a crucial role in our quest for more sustainable and efficient construction solutions.

This Summer, the Constructions-3D Team is Hard at Work

The incubator construction continues this summer, with more information coming in the fall!

The Citadelle des Savoir-Faire incubator will involve 75 tons of material, 75 hours of printing, and a footprint of 380 m², including the walls.
