NEWS - Driving Innovation in Education and Civil Engineering with Concrete 3D Printing

The transformation of education and the construction sector through technological innovation is underway, and Constructions-3D is at the heart of this revolution. Our collaboration with the Hauts-de-France Region, along with the recent inauguration of the concrete 3D printer at the Schuman-Perret High School in Havre, Normandy, perfectly illustrates how we are preparing new generations to meet the future challenges of civil engineering.

A Strategic Partnership with the Hauts-de-France Region

Thanks to our partnership with the Hauts-de-France Region, over a dozen specialized high schools now benefit from the MiniPrinter EDU, a 3D concrete printer tailored for educational use. This collaboration modernizes education in the building sector by integrating advanced technologies and promoting sustainable construction practices. This innovative approach not only equips students with the tools of tomorrow but also actively engages them in projects that transform the urban landscape.

Leading the Way at Schuman-Perret High School in Havre

At Schuman-Perret High School in Havre, a further step has been taken with the introduction of the first concrete 3D printer in Normandy. Inaugurated on April 12, 2024, this technology is not just a teaching tool, but also a catalyst for research and innovation in civil engineering. Students explore the capabilities of this technology to design more cost-effective and less labor-intensive structures, paving the way for a more efficient and sustainable construction industry.

Celebrating Innovation and Early Successes

The impact of these innovative technologies was recognized at significant events, such as the ceremony at the Citadelle des Savoir-Faire, where ten high school students graduated with expertise in modern construction through training on these cutting-edge devices. These students, trained on the concrete 3D printer, enter the job market with a head start, equipped with specialized skills that will be highly sought after in the coming years.

Towards a Future Built on Innovation

At Constructions-3D, we firmly believe that education is the foundation of sustainable innovation. By providing advanced technologies and supporting pioneering educational initiatives, we play an active role in training the builders of tomorrow. These collaborations, particularly with the Hauts-de-France Region and Schuman-Perret High School, go beyond mere commitments to educational improvement; they represent investments in a sustainable future where the construction sector is in harmony with innovation and environmental respect.
